Early intervention services include behavioral therapy. It is provided either in a school, a child’s home, or in an office setting. The aim is that this service, when provided early, will address any developmental delays so that the child may potentially require fewer intensive services (or no services) later.  At age 3, if a child still needs help, they might be referred to the school district for special education preschool, depending on the district.
